Elizabeth Logan is puzzled when she meets Edward Hamner Jr. while in college. She’s studying for her sociology final when he states to her “I know what you need.” With his greasy, un-kept hair and well worn green jacket he’s far from the type of guy she normally would date. Eccentric and a bit of a loner, this boy who has one brown sock and one green sock seems to know her better than anyone else. Even better than her jock boyfriend who she has no intentions of breaking up with. Soon though her boyfriend Tony meets a terrible fate over the summer and she finds herself in a romance with Edward. The relationship is perfect as he always does just the right thing. Everything seems perfect. Elizabeth’s room mate is not so sure though. In fact, she decides to hire a private detective to find out more about the strange Edward Hamner Jr.
